Lavenu, Louis Henry

[E] Lavenu, Louis Henry, composer and
violoncellist, was born at London, in 1818.
He studied at the R.A.M., under Potter and
Bochsa. 'Cellist at the opera, London. Music-
seller in partnership with N. Mori. Music
director of Sydney Theatre. He died at Sydney,
August 1, 1859.
