[E] Anderson, Robert, amateur musician,
was born in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire,
May 6, 1885, and died there on November 22,
1882. He was a solicitor in Fraserburgh and
composed several part-songs of which the
" Herring Song " is best known. He also
composed " Songs of Zion "in 12 numbers,
