July 13, 1814. Studied under bis father, etc.
Organist of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford,
December, 1846. Mus. Bac, Oxon., March,
1847. Conductor of the Oxford University
Motett and Madrigal Society, 1848. Mus.
Doc, Oxon., Juno, 1852. Choragus of the
University of Oxford, 1860. He died at Ox-
ford, December 16, 1883.
