and editor, born Sheerness, 1817. Has edited
several collections of choral music, and com-
posed anthems, glees, and instrumental music.
He was made purchaser of nriisic to the British
Museum in 1875. Editor of Pitman's Musical
Monthly. He died at Chiswick, April 13,
1885.
