Jenny Constant, a teacher of singing and
composer, born in 1817. She resided in Lon-
don as a teacher, and died there Ajjril 29,
1878. She published " Two part exercises "
(for the voice) [1869]. Songs — Adieu ; Au-
tumn's golden leaf ; Go lovely rose ; Prince
Charley's farewell to Scotland, etc. Nocturne
