[E] Aptommas, Thomas Thomas, harpist
(brother of John Thomas), born at Bridgend,
Glamorgan, 1829. Has made tours through-
out the United Kingdom, and played at many
musical centres on the continent, appearing
at the celebrated Gewandhaus Concerts, Leip-
zig, January 18, 1872. Has a wide reputation
as a brilliant performer on the harp. Author
of a " History of the Harp," 1859, and many
Fantasias and other pieces for that instru-
ment.
