[E] Attey, John, composer, born about 1590 ;
died at Ross, Hereford, about 1640. He com-
posed " First booke of ay res of foure parts,
with tableture for the lute, so made that all
the parts may be plaid together with the lute,
or one voyce with the lu'e and bass viol."
