[E] Guest, George, organist and composer,
born at Bury St. Edmunds in 1771. Son of
Ralph Guest. He studied under his father.
Chorister in Chapel Royal. Organist at Eye,
Suffolk, in 1787 ; and at Wisbeach in 1789.
He died at Wisbeach, September 10, 1831.
Wrote glees, hymns, songs, duets, organ music,
etc.
