Howard, Samuel

[E] Howard, Samuel, organist and composer,
born in London, 1710. He was a chorister in
the Chapel Royal under Croft, and he also
studied under Pepusch. Organist of St. Bride's
and St. Clement Danes Churches, London.
Mus. Doc, Cantab., 1769. He died at Loudon,
July 13, 1782.
