- Baildon, Joseph
[E] Baildon, Joseph, composer and vocalist,
born 1727. He was a Gentleman of the
Chapel Royal, and Lay-Vicar of Westminster[+] Abbey, about the middle of the ISth century.
He gained prizes given by the Catch Club in
1763 and 1766. He held the position of
organist of St. Luke's, Old Street, and All
Saints, Fulham, London. Died at London,
