[E] Klose, Francis Joseph, composer and
writer, born at London, in 1784. He was a
member of the orchestra of King's Theatre,
and of the Concert of Ancient Music. Teacher
of, the pf in London. He died at Maryle-
bone, London, March 8, 1830.[+] Composer of a large quantity of pf. music,
and author of " Practical hints for acquiring
thorough-bass," London, 1822. His songs,
" My native land," " The Rose," etc., were
