[E] Knyvett, Deborah, born Travis, singer,
second wife of William Knyvett, was born at
Shaw, near Oldham. She studied under
Greatorex, and sang at the concerts of Ancient
Music in 1813. Sang at principal London con-
certs, 1815-43. Married W. Knyvett, 1826.
