[E] Langshaw, John, organist and composer,
born in 1718. He was organist of the Parish
Church of Lancaster, and died, 1798.

[+] His son, John, born, London, 1763, studied
under Charles Wesley, and succeeded his
father at Lancaster, in 1798. He composed
hymns, chants, songs, pf. concertos, and
organ music.
