composer. Educated at Cambridge University,
graduating B.A., 1865 ; M.A., and Mas. Bac,
1882. Has lectured before the College of
Organists, 1884-7, on Common Principles of
Art ; The effect of the Renaissance on Musical
Art, etc. He has published a Te Deum, and
a number of songs.
