[E] Lowe or Low, Edward, organist and
composer, was born at Salisbury [1615] . He
was a chorister in Salislairy Cathedral, under
Hohnes. Organist of Christ Church, Oxford,
1630. Organist of Cliapel Royal, lfi60. Chora-
gus and professor of music, Oxford, 16G1-82.
He died at Oxford, July 11, 1682.
