Lupo, Thomas

[E] Lupo, Thomas, violinist and composer,
who flourished in the reign of James I. He
composed masques, anthems, madrigals,
songs in contemporary collections, and con-
tributed to Leighton's " Teares." His father,
Thomas Lupo, was a member of Queen
Elizabeth's Band, 1579, and was also a
composer.
