[E] Lyall, Charles, tenor vocalist, was a
member of the Carl Rosa Opera Company,
from 1875, for a number of years, taking light
comedy parts. He also sang in the Royal
English Opera Company, 1883, etc. He is,
perhaps, better known as a caricaturist, and
his cartoons in the Musical World, Musical
Herald, and other papers, have afforded mucli
aniusement.
