[E] Barnard, Mrs. Charles, (born Charlotte
Alington), "Claribel," amateur song-wri-
ter, born December 23, 1830; married Mr.
Charles C. Barnard, 1854. She studied music
under W. H. Holmes. She died at Dover,
January 30, 1869.
