Maclean, Alick

[E] Maclean, Alick, composer, son of pre-
ceding, born at Eton, July 20, 1872. His
works include an opera in three acts, " Quen-
tin Durward," and " Petruccio " (libretto by
bis sister), ojaera in one act, which won the
Moody-Manners prize of £100, and was pro-
duced at Covent Garden, June 29, 1895. He
has also written some songs.
