Maclennan, William

[E] Maclennan, William, piper and dancer,
was born in Scotland in the first part of the
present century. He was regarded as one of
the best performers of Highland bagpipe
music, and was four times commanded to
pipe and dance before the Queen. He died
at Montreal, Canada, in October, 1892, while
on a tour with a company in America.
