[E] Marriott, Frederick, alto vocalist, lay-
clerk in St. George's Chapel, Windsor, from
about 1845, and also for some time in the
choir of Eton College. He assisted at many
of the Royal functions during the Queen's
reign, and was the oldest lay-clerk in the
Chapel. He died at Windsor, March 19, 1895,
aged 82.
