- Menzies, Archibald
[E] Menzies, Archibald, violinist and fa-
mous reel player, was born at Dull, Perth-
shire, in 1806, and died at Edinburgh on
July 16, 1856. Pie was in the orchestra of
the Theatre Royal, Edinburgh, and took part
in many competition concerts organised by
