Miles, P. Napier

[E] Miles, P. Napier, amateur composer of
present time. Pupil of Dr. Hubert Parry.
His setting cf Coleridge's ' ' Hymn before
sunrise," for baritone solo, chorus, and orch-
estra, was produced at the Bristol Festival,
October 15, 1896. He has also composed a
Symphonic Suite for orchestra, produced at
Riseley's concerts, Bristol ; and a Sonata in
B minor, for violin and pf., Bristol, 1892.
