Moore, William H

[E] Moore, William H., cornet player,
composer, and conductor, born in Birmingham,
May 7, 1852. Sometime solo cornet in the
band of the Theatre Royal, Birmingham.
Conductor of the orchestra at the Moseley
Botanical Gardens, 1892-5 ; and engaged in
principal local orchestral concerts. He has
composed an opera, " Rudolph " ; cantatas,
" Torfrida," produced, Birmingham, January,
1885; "Daniel," 1886. Also a Suite, and
Romance for orchestra ; Fair Marguerite ;
Queen of my dream ; and other songs, etc.
