Moss, Edwin

[E] Moss, Edwin, composer and tenor vocal-
ist, horn in London, January 4, 1838. He was
for many years a teacher at Cardiff and
Wantage. In 1866-75 he was precentor of
Poultry Chapel, and from 1877 tenor in the
Foundling Chapel. Editor of " The London
'Tune Book," 1877, and composer of a number
of hymn tunes, etc.
