[E] Munden, Thomas, organist and conduc-
tor, was a chorister of Westminster Abbey,,
and pupil of Greatorex. He was one of the
conductors of the Birmingham Festivals from
1826 to 1846, and first organist of the Town
Hall. He was also organist of Christ Church
and St. Paul's, Birmingham. He died in
North Wales about 1879.
