[E] Mutlow, William, organist, was born in
1761. He became organist of Gloucester
Cathedral in 1782, and held the appointment
till 1832, when he was succeeded by John
Amott. He died at Gloucester in 1832. He
conducted the Gloucester Festivals from 1790
to 1829. Composer of "Unto Thee, O God,"
anthem, etc.
