- Norcome, Daniel
[E] Norcome, Daniel, musician and com-
poser, was born at Windsor in 1576. He was
a son of one of the lay-clerks at Windsor, and
was probably a singer in the Chapel Royal
there. He is stated to have left England on
account of his religion, and he became a
member of the band in the Arch-ducal Chapel
at Brussels, Avhere he was in 1647. He com-
posed " With angel's face and brightness,"
a madrigal in the " Triumphs of Oriana,"
