Parry, John

[E] Parry, John, Welsh harper and collector,
of Ruabon, North Wales. He was bard or
harper to Sir W. W. Wynne, of Wynnstay,
during the middle of the 18th century. He
appeared in London as a player. He died at
Ruabon, October 7, 1782.

lection of tunes never before published, which
are retained by the Cambro Britons, more
particularly in North Wales. An historical
account of the rise and progress of jMusic
among the Antient Britons, London, 1742
