Pegler, Daniel

[E] Pegler, Daniel, amateur composer and
pianist, was well-known in the early part of
the present century as a performer of ability.
He died at Colchester, December 29, 1876.
Thalberg considered Pegler one of the finest
semi-professional pianists in England. He
had a very wonderful memory.
