[E] Phillips, Louisa, soprano vocalist, born
at Bath. Studied at the Conservatoire, Paris,
under Eugene Crosti and Jules Barbot. Made
her debut at Colston Hall, Bristol, at INIr.
Riselej^'s Concerts, December 4, 1882 ; sung
at the Monday Popular Concerts, London,
1884 ; and has given concerts at Princes' Hall,
and appeared with success at the principal
concerts up to the present time.
