- Piggott, Francis
[E] Piggott, Francis, organist and composer,
born about the middle of the 17th century.
He was organist of Rlagdalen College, Oxford,
1686-87; of Temple Church, London, 16S8 ;
and of Chapel Royal in 1697. In 1695 he was
appointed Gentleman of the Chapel Royal,
and in 1698 he was Mus. Bac, Cantab. He
died in May, 1704. Composer of anthems ;
