Pridham, John

[E] Pridham, John, pianist and composer,
born at Popsham, Devon, October 1, 1818.
He studied at the R.A.M., and when still a
young man, played frequently before the
Queen and Prince Consort. He died at
Taunton, in August, 1896. He wrote a
" Method for the Piano," London, Brewer,"
n.d. ; and issued an iiximense number of easy
pieces for the pf. Composer also of a fevi^
songs and duets.
