Pring, Jacob Cubitt

[E] Pring, Jacob Cubitt, organist and com-
poser, was born at Lewisham, near London,
in 1771. Organist of St. Botolph, Aldgate,
London. Mus. Bac, Oxon., 1797. He died
in 1799.

[c. 1795] ; Eight anthems, as performed in St.
Paul's Cathedral, London [1792] ; Magnificat,
in two parts ; Dying Christian to his soul,

the fingering marked for young beginners
on the pf. or harj)sichord, London [1800].
Six progressive sonatinas for the harpsichord
or pf. Songs, sonnets, etc.
