[E] Reeve, William, composer and organist,
born in 1757. He studied under Richardson,
and became organist of Totness, Devon, 1781-
1783. Composer to Astley's Circus, London,
and to Covent Garden Theatre, 1791. Organ-
ist of Church of St. Martin, Ludgate Hill,
1792. Joint-proprietor of Sadler's Wells
