- Roberts, W. Jarrett
[E] Roberts, W. Jarrett, composer and
teacher, was born at Liverpool in 1846. He
studied at the R.A.M., and afterwards became
principal of the North Wales Acadeniy of
Music. He died at Bangor in November,
1886. Composer of "The Inundation of
Cantrir Gwaelod," a dramatic cantata,
Merthyr, 1881 ; Music for pf. and violin,
