[E] Bayley, William, organist and composer,
was born in [1810] . Vicar-choral St. Paul's
Cathedral, and master of the choristers in
succession to Hawes. Organist of St. John's,
Horsleydown, Southwark. He died at Lon-
don, November 8, 1858. He composed many
songs and other vocal pieces, and published
"The Paneuphonon: a selection of the most
popular tunes, with chants for one or four
