[E] Sherrington, Jose, soprano vocalist,
younger sister of Madame Lemmens-Sherring-
ton, was horn at Rotterdam, October 27, 1850.
Studied at Brussels under Madame Meyer-
Boulard, and Signor Chiriamonte. Made her
appearance in England in 1871, and sung at
her sister's concerts in London, 1872, and in
the provinces. Toured in Holland in 1878,
