[E] Squire, Emily, soprano vocalist of pre-
sent time. Studied at R.C.M. and R.A.M.
Sang at Bath early in the year 1888, but
made a more important debut at Exeter in
April, at the festival of the Western Counties'
Musical Association. Made her first appear-
ance at the Crystal Palace, Llarch 21, 1891 ;
and at the Monday Popular Concerts, January
15, 1894. Has sung at the Birmingham
Festival Choral Society's Concerts, and in
the principal musical centres, attaining a
