last century. He was an itinerating teacher
of psalmody in Banffshire, etc. Author of
the " Elements of Music, wherein the funda-
mental principles of that science are explained
and illustrated. To which is annexed a col-
lection of the best church tunes generally in
use, and fitted to various measures of poetry.
