Thackeray, Duncan

[E] Thackeray, Duncan, organist, tenor
vocalist and composer. Graduated Mus. Bac,
Oxford, 1870; Mus. Doc, Dublin, 1871.
Sometime organist of St. John's Church,
Perth ; later at Southgate, Middlesex. Since
1860 tenor in choir of Armagh Cathedral.
He has composed two sacred cantatas for soli,
chorus (8 part), and orchestra ; Church
Service ; Songs, etc.
