Thomas, Robert Harold

[E] Thomas, Robert Harold, pianist and
composer, born at Cheltenham, July 8, 1834.
IJe studied at the R.A.M. under Bennett,
Potter, and Blagrove, and played at concerts
in London from about 1850. He was a pro-
fessor of the pf. at the R.A.M. and the
Guildhall School of Music. He died at London,
July 29, 1885.

moorland, Philharmonic Society, February
19,1880; "As you like it". .1864. Nocturnes,
fantasias, and numerous transcriptions for
the pf. Songs, etc.
