Richard Samuel Thorne, dramatic manager.
He has been associated with the D'Oyly Carte
travelling companies for many years ; and his
impersonations of the characters of Ko Eo,
Jack Point, the CJiancellor, and others in the
Gilbert-Sullivan operas, have been extremely
popular.
