The British Musical Biography

[E] Towsey, Arthur, conductor and organist,
was musically educated at St. Michael's Col-
lege, Tenbury. He went to New Zealand,
and is now conductor of the Auckland Or-
chestral Union. He has given some excellent
concerts, and done good work. At the Well-
ington Industrial Exhibition, 1896-7, he gave
a series of organ recitals.
