[E] Tunsted, Simon, English Franciscan
monk and Doctor of Theology, born at
Norwich early in the 14th century. He died
at Bruzard, Suffolk, 1369. Author of " De
Musica Continua et Discreta cum Diagram-
matibus," and " De Quatuor Principalibus in
quibus totius INIusicje Radices Consistuut,"
two works preserved in MS. in the Bodleian
Library, Oxford.
