Young, Mary

[E] Young, Mary, Mrs. Barthelemon,
soprano vocalist, was born about 1745. She
was taught singing in London, and appeared
at Drury Lane in "The Spring," pastoral, in
1762. In 1766 she married F. H. Barthelemon,
the French violinist and composer. She was
the original Nysa in O'Hara's " Midas." Died
September 20, 1799.
