musician, who lived in London as a teacher
of the viol during the first half of the 17th
century. He translated the " Templum
Musicum," of Alstedius, as " Templum
Musicum, or the musical synopsis of the
learned and famous Johannes Henricus, Al-
stedius : being a compendium of the rudi-
ments both of the mathematical and practical
part of musick . . " London, 1664.
