The British Musical Biography

[E] Blagrave, Thomas, composer and mu-
sician, was born in Berkshire about 1661. He
was a Gentleman of the Chapel Royal, and a
inember of the private band of Charles II.
He died on November 21, 1688, and is buried
in the north cloister of Westminster Abbey.
He composed a few songs.
