Brady, Nicholas

[E] Brady, Nicholas, divine and j)oet, born
at Bandon, 1659, died at Richmond, Surrey,
1726. He was associated with Tate in the
production of a metrical version of the Psalms
of David. He also wrote " Church music
vindicated ; a sermon preached at St. Bride's
Church on Monday, November 22nd, 1697,
being St. Csecilia's Day, the anniversary feast
of the lovers of musick," London, 1697.
