singer, born at York (?) in 1814. ? Son of
Thomas Bridgewater, organist of St. Saviour's,
York, who died January 6, 1831. He died at
Windsor, July 24, 1869. Compiler of "Sacred
music, consisting of chants, etc." York, 1840.
" Church psalmody . . ." London, 1850. He
also composed songs, etc.
